like I had chosen
to be homeless
like I had chosen
to be lonely
it was so miserable
I wanted to go home
but I couldn't
I felt my face
wet
with tears
I was overlooked
no one cared
about me
or the pain I faced
every day
I was nothing
I was useless
I wasn't there
no one was my friend
no one was my brother
no one was my mother
no one was my father
